School Rules/Values
Be Caring
Be Responsible
Always Learning
Rules for Learning
- Follow the School Rules/Values
- Listen and follow directions the first time given.
- Stay seated during work time.
- Raise your hand to share ideas or ask questions. Then, wait to be called on.
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
- Take care of and clean up materials.
Consequences
My “Card Chart” is used when a rule is broken.
Each student has 4 cards and starts every day on Green.
The first time a student breaks a rule, their card is flipped to a Yellow
(warning). If the student breaks another rule, their card will
be moved to Blue (-5 minutes of playtime and no happy face stamp on
his/her planner/calendar). This process continues with -10
minutes (Red card) ... in severe cases: loss of all
playtime and a visit to the Counselor or Principal’s Office. All behavior is
documented in your child’s school planner/calendar, daily!
